Meet one of our employees who makes a difference, Misty Thompson! Misty is our March Employee of the Month! Misty has worked here for a year and brought so much joy to us all. Aside from keeping the building clean and looking its best with our Housekeeping/Laundry Department, Misty is also an STNA and pitches in to help on the floor. She is a jack of all trades!

We love having Misty as part of the Emerald Family. She is constantly making those around her feel cared for and heard. A few of her co-workers shared,
"Misty goes above and beyond to help the residents and her co-workers. She is always willing to help out." Another expressed,
"Misty is always smiling and making people feel important."
Misty lives in Barnesville, Ohio, with her husband. They have a four-year-old Labradoodle named Charlie, and he is spoiled. In her spare time, Misty loves to do woodwork and make crafts.
"Every day when I go to work, blessings are exchanged. The residents believe that I am helping them, but they are actually helping make a difference in my life. The staff that I work with are awesome too. Thank you to the residents and staff for making my day," shared Misty on why she loves working at Emerald Pointe.
